Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 1 August 2026

Anakalice only works if people can trust it. This policy sets out, in plain terms, what you must never do. It applies to everyone: job seekers, employers, and ATS users. It is more specific than the Terms of Service. The examples below are illustrations, not a complete list. If something is obviously dishonest, harmful, or abusive, assume it's not allowed.

What you must not do

Fake jobs and recruitment fraud

Don't post a job that isn't real or isn't yours to hire for. This includes "jobs" that exist only to collect CVs, phone numbers, or bank details, listings for a company you don't represent, "guaranteed job" bait, or reposting a fake job after it's removed.

Fake profiles, CVs, and impersonation

Don't invent qualifications or experience, use someone else's CV or photo as your own, create multiple applicant identities, or pretend to be another person, company, or an Anakalice staff member. Don't use stolen identity documents or another business's registration.

Payment scams, "fees to apply", and MLM

Never ask an applicant for money at any stage. No "processing fee", "training fee", "starter kit", or "background-check fee". No multi-level-marketing or pyramid schemes, and no "job" that requires the worker to pay to participate. Anakalice never charges job seekers to apply, and no legitimate employer here will either.

Misleading salaries

Don't advertise a salary you don't intend to pay, mark pay as "confirmed" when it isn't, or advertise one figure and offer materially less.

Spam, data misuse, and scraping

No bulk or repetitive unsolicited messages, and no junk applications sent at volume. Don't collect candidate data for anything other than the specific job applied for, and never sell, rent, or share applicant information. Automated scraping or bulk extraction of listings, profiles, or applicant data is prohibited.

Automation abuse and attacks

No bots or scripts that create accounts, submit applications, post jobs, or send messages at scale. No credential stuffing, brute-forcing, or attempts to bypass authentication or reach another employer's data. Don't upload files (including CVs) containing malware, and don't probe or attack the platform's security without our written permission. If you find a vulnerability, report it responsibly rather than exploit it. Good-faith reports are welcome.

Illegal or harmful content, and evading enforcement

No content that is unlawful under Nigerian law, that unlawfully discriminates or harasses, or that is adult or violent. Don't create new accounts to get around a suspension, or use multiple accounts to fake activity or mislead others.

How we detect and act

Public jobs are reviewed by a person before they go live, and can be removed afterwards. The platform records factual conduct, such as removed jobs or upheld reports, and serious or repeated breaches affect an account's standing. Anything flagged is assessed by a person before a serious decision is taken. Automated signals only queue work for a human. They never punish automatically.

Consequences

Depending on severity, we may remove the content, issue a warning, record the outcome (which can fade over time with good conduct), or suspend or terminate the account. For serious matters like fraud, identity theft, malware, or illegal content, we may refer the matter to law enforcement. We aim to act proportionately, and most first-time, minor issues are handled with removal or a warning.

Reporting and appeals

If you see something that breaks these rules, report it and give us enough detail to act. If your content was removed or your account was actioned and you believe it was a mistake, you can appeal and a person will review it. A successful appeal clears the record.
